Sanding, polishing, casting and colour matching silicone bracelets for the up-coming Mary Poppins film; prepping giant blocks of foam to be routed for parts of the helicopters in Mission Impossible: Fallout and then sanding them; and casting dummy-bodies with expanding foam for an unknown film. As well as general cleaning tidying of the workshop and making incredible cups of tea and coffee for the guys working there.

During the summer of 2013 for one week.

I was employed by Phil Worsley (Systems & Control tutor at Joseph Whitaker School) to design a 1:1 scale wind turbine (about a metre in length and 60cm in diameter) using 3D CAD software. I was given a week and had to work with measurements scribbled down on a piece of paper and a couple of photographs of the prototype. I was able to complete the job within the time frame and my employer was incredibly pleased with the finished result.
